Downtown St. Paul is a favorite of mine to shoot at. You can’t go wrong with its iconic cityscape and classic charm, which adds some elegance to a session. The architecture is a dream—soft light filtering through timeless buildings and fun brick walls. It was fun capturing candid moments before sunset, with the city buzzing. Emily has an infectious smile. When you see how these two look at each other, it’s like something straight out of a movie or a novel. I love looking back at these photos; they have beautiful vibes. The dreamy, romantic vibes were on point during golden hour, even though the wildfires gave everything this surreal orange and red haze. It turned out to be a total mood. The field was lush and bright green, dotted with wildflowers, making it all look so playful and ethereal. It was one of those sessions where the couple matched with the location and absolutely nailed the vibe we were going for.
