Landmark Center Wedding in St. Paul, Minnesota

Jake and Landon kicked off their Landmark Center wedding day at the St. Paul Hotel, and honestly? Iconic choice. The place has an old-school elegance that perfectly matches their black-tie vibe. It’s right across the street from the Landmark Center, which meant zero stress when it came time to head to the ceremony—big win.

From the second I walked into their getting-ready space, I could feel the vibe—intentional, relaxed, and all them. Clean lines, classic black tuxes, and just enough calm energy to know they were fully present. Just two ready guys.

The best part is we originally connected through one of their photographer friends—someone they trusted. When she gave them my name, they checked out my work, loved the feel of it, and said, “Let’s do this.” Which, not gonna lie, felt freaking cool. Getting to show up for people who already vibe with what I do makes all the difference.

Stylish Landmark Center Wedding with Modern Details and Downtown St. Paul Portraits

Jake and Landon are the kind of people who don’t need a bunch of fluff to make something feel special. They’re grounded, intentional, and entirely in tune with what matters most—and that showed up in every part of their day. From the sleek black-and-white aesthetic to the soulful moments that gave it all depth, this wedding was a perfect mix of style and essence.

Minnesota in March is a total wildcard. It had snowed the week before, but somehow, the skies cleared, temperatures rose, and we ended up with this dreamy, warm day like the universe had just known. We wandered the streets of St. Paul for portraits, soaking up every bit of golden light, and ducked into the Landmark Center for some jaw-dropping interior shots. Stone textures, wood tones, and that historic architecture—it all naturally played into their vision without us even trying too hard.

St. Paul Wedding Ceremony with Personal Touches and a Mariachi Cocktail Hour

Jake and Landon’s ceremony took place inside the iconic Landmark Center, and it honestly couldn’t have been a better fit. The old-world charm of the space gave everything a cinematic, almost sacred vibe.

Their ceremony music came from a pianist Jake randomly met at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport. He heard the guy playing, grabbed his business card, and ended up hiring him for the big day. It was such a sweet little detail.

After the vows, Jake and Landon welcomed guests into a cocktail hour filled with heart and heritage. Jake had a mariachi band playing in honor of his roots, and the energy shifted in the best way. You could feel the pride, the love, the fun.

A Community-Focused Landmark Center Reception

The reception brought the kind of energy you hope to feel at a wedding—supportive, emotional, and electric. The vibe was warm and welcoming, but also full of hype. Jake’s volleyball crew (both past and present teammates) showed up hard for him, and you could feel the love radiating across the dance floor. These two built deep roots in their community, and their people showed up ready to pour that love right back into them.

If you’re dreaming up a day that feels like you—something stylish, meaningful, and rooted in your story—let’s plan your wedding your way.
