A leisurely stroll through the lively streets of downtown Minneapolis. That’s where Samantha and Alex dreamt of their Minnesota elopement at the city hall. I couldn’t help but fall in love with Samantha’s exquisite elopement attire, the breathtaking city hall backdrop, and the laid-back vibes that embraced the entire day. This couple came to me, knew exactly what they wanted, and I couldn’t be happier with how this turned out. Let me show you why!

MINNESOTA ELOPEMENT PHOTOS FULL OF ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS

A few months ago, Samantha asked about my remaining 2023 availability for her elopement. I happily confirmed I was free. Their engagement took place in the beautiful Alaskan mountains, and they both knew that a city hall elopement was the perfect way to make things official. 

Our journey began with a photo shoot in the main area of the city hall building, boasting elegant white marble and intricate architectural details. Then, we strolled down to the nearby government building, accessible through the outside concourse, for the intimate wedding ceremony. The judge graciously offered several locations. After careful consideration, Sam and Alex chose to exchange vows on the steps overlooking the government plaza and city hall. In the company of four family members, they embraced the heartwarming support. The judge kept the proceedings brief and sweet, sealing their love with the new title of husband and wife.

A CELEBRATORY TOAST AT THE HEWING HOTEL

Living an hour outside the city, Samantha and Alex wisely booked a night at the iconic Hewing Hotel. Following their ceremony, we ventured outside and inside the hotel to capture fun “reception” style photos. It was truly an honor to meet this lovely couple and be a part of documenting their intimate and memorable ceremony.
