I’m thrilled to share Jona and Cyle’s downtown Minneapolis engagement photos! Although they are originally from Iowa, they currently reside in Minneapolis and definitely had ideas for their engagement session. But we will get into the fun details shortly. I’m obsessed with the city skyline downtown and the blend of modern architecture and classic charm, so I hope you love this session as much as I do.
Downtown Minneapolis has a distinct charm with its blend of historical monuments, scenic spots, and compelling backdrops. The city’s character is shaped by structures like the Stone Arch Bridge, an iconic landmark that spans the Mississippi River, providing a unique industrial scene. The streets are a mix of old and new, offering a variety of areas for exploration. The cityscape features a contrast of sleek modern architecture and the historical charm of brick buildings. Each corner tells a unique story, showcasing the diverse character of downtown Minneapolis.
Jona and Cyle, referred by a previous client, chose me to capture their 2024 wedding—a request I gladly accepted. They wanted their Minneapolis engagement photos to feature a park setting and the iconic Stone Arch Bridge. Jona works for Miller Beer, and Cyle is an architect, so both infused elements of their passions into the shoot, offering a glimpse into their individual interests while celebrating their shared love. We had so much fun adventuring around the city!
